Get away from the summer heat and get up to The Lake. Lake Tahoe is the perfect spot to enjoy water sports such as boating, kayaking, and fishing and summer sports like hiking, biking, golf, tennis, and just about anything else you can think of.

And if that is not enough, take in the view from the top of Heavenly's new Scenic Gondola Ride (cable car ride) where we got this great look at the famous Stateline Casinos just across the Nevada border on the south side of Lake Tahoe.

The Mountains

In the winter months its all about Snow in Tahoe. With one mountain literally in South Lake Tahoe's backyard and several others within a short driving distance, we all pray for snow. Come play in the snow!

You're surrounded by beauty in both Winter and Summer. And in the Summer you can explore miles and miles of trails for hiking and bking including the Tahoe Rim Trail which just completed the loop around the Lake in the Summer of 2001.

If you've ever wanted to try your luck while vacationing, the Casinos atStateline, Nevada are just a few stes away from some of our properties. But you don't have to gamble to enjoy the fun; there is always a show to take in featuring national and international performers.

South Lake Tahoe is also home to a number of excellent restaurants and has many other casual dining options. You will find Live Music, Drink Specials, and several other special events throughout the year at many local venues. Come to Tahoe, and see what all the talk is about!
